Being a Dorset wedding photographer I've been lucky to document some incredible weddings. There are some fantastic venues for every type of wedding! On the west side of the county, you'll find Pennsylvania Castle on the Isle of Portland a stunning Gothic mansion with sea views, you can already imagine the wedding ceremony with that backdrop. Travelling further east down the coast, you'll find the splendid Lulworth Castle a short distance from two of the most picturesque views in Dorset, Lulworth Cove & Durdledoor (Google and you'll see what I mean!)

If it's more of a barn wedding you're after then you'll love Gorwell Farm. This is a beautifully converted barn nestled in a secluded valley so you can party the night away without disturbing anyone! Or if you're after a more extravagant wedding, then either Kingston Maurward or St Giles House would be a suitable choice as they're both stunning examples of period houses. Looking for a more festival style wedding? Then Larmer Tree or Wilkswood near Swanage would be perfect for pitching up the tents and partying into the night! Finally travelling to the east of the county there are lots of options from a Bournemouth beach wedding to a relaxed wedding at Sopley Mill. This is a disused watermill by the river Avon.

"We booked Richard to photograph our wedding, and can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions we made, as his photos are absolutely beautiful and perfectly encapsulate the spirit of our day."
